Since the fall of Assad in December, Ankara has accelerated talks with the Syrian provisional government about the potential Pact.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry reacted Rapidly Israeli strikes, labeling the Israeli government as “racist and fundamentalist”, accusing them of expansionist ambitions. “Israel’s attacks in Syria are unthinkable without provocation and point to the policy that thrives in the conflict,” the ministry spokesman said. “Erdogan is trying to restore Turkey’s influence in the region as a kind of neo-O-Osman’s power,” Ciddi said. “He sees Iran’s powers weakened, Russia is overloaded and positioning Turkey to dominate the region – especially through military feet, such as air bases.”
Ciddi said Erdogan’s long game involves forecasting power in Syria, favoring the new government in Damascus and convinced the US to give Turkey access to the F-35 fighter jets in exchange for Syrian “management”.
“Erdogan wants to go to Trump and say,” I’m here the big guy. Leave Syria for me, just give me the F-35, “” said Ciddi. “But Israel sees it as a direct threat. The T-4 runway bombing was a clear message: you’re not welcome here.”
Turkish leader Recent rhetoric of inflammation – Including prayers for the destruction of Israel during Ramadan’s service – there are even more excited by Israel and American observers.
During the recent web seminar, organized by the Jewish American National Security Institute (Jinsa), former US Ambassador to Turkey, Eric Edelman, called for urgent diplomatic intervention.

“There should be quiet discussions with Turkey on the toning of Israel’s rhetoric – the threat of destroying it, whether coming from the president or his son’s headquarters,” Edelman said. “There must be some effort to deconflate over the Syrian airspace.”
Edelman also warned that the restored F-35 sales of Turkey should be conditions: “If Turkey actually has F-35, there must be a very clear understanding of where they can use it.”

Alan Makovsky, a member of the Denim East Mediterranean politics project, said: “We can never accept such statements, there is only rhetoric,” adds, “Erdogan has previously stated that” suddenly coming one night ” – we have to take it seriously.”
Inside Israel, officials are closely watching Turkish marches in Syria. Avner Golov, a vice president of Israeli’s mind, stressed that the current crisis reflects a deeper ideological threat.
“Iran is clearly the leader of the radical camp, but Erdogan tries to position himself as a second head – and he is no less dangerous in terms of potential,” he said. “He does not use closer, just like Iran. He intervenes directly, including in Israel through Palestinian citizens and political activism.”

“Israel has diplomatic ties with Turkey, but Erdogan continues to block meaningful security cooperation in NATO,” Golov added. “Now that Turkey is moving south to Syria, we (Israel) have to fight for the rules of engagement. We cannot allow Turkey to create a long -distance air protection roof on our border.”
Golov said the current administration should understand that Erdogan’s ambitions exceed Syria. “He wants to become a patron country, to control the sky, and to prevent Israel’s operations, claiming that we are violating Syrian sovereignty. But it’s not about sovereignty – it’s about power and the new Middle East forming in Muslim fraternity colors.”

On recent protests against Istanbul’s plague prison, Ciddi said: “We have seen a big challenge for Erdogan with these growing public protests – perhaps the largest since 2013 in Gezi protests … Prisoning for an opposition candidate for everything he has.”
