Golov said the current administration should understand that Erdogan’s ambitions exceed Syria. “He wants to become a patron country, to control the sky, and to prevent Israel’s operations, claiming that we are violating Syrian sovereignty. But it’s not about sovereignty – it’s about power and the new Middle East forming in Muslim fraternity colors.”
