World leaders are angry reactions as the US announces tariffs for all imports.
Donald Trump, President of the United States, has called it “Liberation Day,” but the world leaders say his new tariff round may cause a global trade war.
The White House announced that tariff rates would change depending on the country, but that almost all nations will eventually be affected.
Moving has caused anger in China, indignation in Europe and confusion worldwide.
Trump says tariffs have been refunded – a way to release the US from reliance on foreign goods and increase home production.
But for the time being, they also contribute to the fear of downturn and are nervous in global markets.
So how will the world economy work?
And will the trading partners deviate further from America and the alliances elsewhere?
